Modernaction started out as what I thought was a catchy email address, and eBay name. I have also used the name a few times in association with various shows and events that I have worked on over the last several years. I was one of the first people to regularly sell clothing that appealed to Skinheads, Mods, and Scooterists on eBay. There was a very long stretch of time when the only Ben Sherman shirts you would ever see on there would be ones I was selling! Time marches on though, and there are a ton of items available on eBay, and everywhere else now. I started this clothing range due to the lack of true quality items that are available at present. Quantity does not equal quality. I for one am discouraged by the lack of options. Seems the only choices are ill fitting clothes that are often made in China, or original Brutus and Jaytex shirts that will usually command as much as 60 to 80 English Pounds Sterling. I'll let you figure out how much that is in American Dollars on your calculator! It's my goal to provide a classic, traditional product at a fair price. A timeless range of clothing that will look smart regardless of any trends. Much thought has been put into the detailing. The garments are of a high quality and manufactured right here in San Francisco. I produced them with respect and admiration for the great street cultures that have gravitated towards smart and clean clothing for decades. So for now, I'm offering a few patterns of classic button down collar shirts. I hope to add Monkey and Harrington jackets in super smart colors and fabrics, as well as a range of sharp Permanently Stay Pressed trousers. I will also occasionally work on various shows and scooter rallys here in San Francisco, and will continue to travel to big scene related events. When appropriate, I hope to vend the products I'm offering, so keep a look out for ModernAction!
